Here you can see the bodywork panels much more clearly. This side of the car has what I assume to be a small air intake for the gearbox—its air scoop can be seen below the opening for the pushrod.
Also: anyone expecting a carbon fibre texture to appear on the suspension arms at some stage should know that carbon fibre only started to be used on those components from about 1997 onwards, and even then only for some bits initially. The latest cars of course have their suspension fully in carbon fibre, but on these machines they were still metal.
A bit of a break from this will follow now. I'm going to move my attention to another part of the car for next time.
